Recent work on the £10billion 30-year M25 DBFO contract (PFI) as senior change manager involved specification changes to highways assets, management, construction, maintenance and performance.
He has an inclusive knowledge the DMRB standards for highways transportation, asset management and other highways technical service standards, technical inspections and best industry practice.
He has held senior management and executive positions for the majority of years in industry and has a wide experience in all aspects of technology businesses from Start-up to maturity. Experienced in leading and growing all sectors of business to make it a dynamic, progressive and sustainable organisation. Possessing excellent communication skills and able to establish sustainable beneficial relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors and stakeholders across many disciplines.
In a variety of roles, he has managed and experienced all aspects of an SME’s business, their products, services and people, along with the continual challenges they face. This has also given him a unique view as to how potential customers/users view new technology related commercial considerations and, in some cases, influence the outcome. In bringing new technology to market, he has also had experience in dealing with suppliers to form partnerships where they can properly support new developments and keep pace with innovation. Negotiated out-sourcing partnerships which is an important element to enable the core business to grow and leverage their USP.
